Who is Omar Bayoumi?

I’m an IELTS tutor, English teacher, and academic supervisor who has taught thousands of learners from different backgrounds, ages, professions, and levels.

I took the IELTS exam myself in 2022 and achieved Band 8.0, so I know what it feels like to prepare for the test as a candidate, not just as a teacher. In 2023, I earned my Cambridge accreditation with distinction, and since then, I’ve received extensive training from reputable IELTS tutors and organisations to continuously develop my approach to IELTS preparation.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to teach English in a wide range of contexts and work on major educational projects, including a huge project with the Egyptian Military Academy. I’ve taught everyone from high school students preparing to enter reputable universities to professionals, C-level executives, and people from a wide range of industries.

I’ve taught General English, Conversational English, Business English, and IELTS, but I’ve always been most passionate about IELTS.

What I love about IELTS is that success isn’t simply about knowing English. It’s about understanding the exam, knowing what is expected of you, developing the right skills, and having a clear strategy for showing your ability under test conditions.

That’s what I aim to help my students with: understanding where they are now, identifying what is holding them back, and giving them the guidance, strategies, practice, and feedback they need to move towards their target score.
